How to Make an Appointment for Gift Cards

For those with a 10 – 15 minutes flexibility, simply walk-in for your car wash.

How to Redeem Your Gift Card

As mentioned before, both you and the recipient will receive emails containing a soft copy of the gift card with a QR code.

To make the most of your gift card:

Make an appointment.
Visit our Carwash Location at 7620 Folsom-Auburn Rd, Folsom, CA 95630.
Show one of the following to the cashier:
– Printed copy of the gift card
– Gift card digital copy or QR Code on your cellphone
– Gift card code along with the receiver’s name and email address
The cashier will redeem the amount equivalent to the gift card price divided by 5 washes.

Valentine’s Day is observed annually on February 14th and is most renowned for celebrating love and romantic relationships. While it holds religious significance in certain Christian communities like the Lutheran, Anglican, and Eastern Orthodox Church (celebrated on July 6 and July 30), the holiday has become more secular over time.

The origin of St. Valentine’s Day stems from the celebration of several early Christian martyrs named Valentine, particularly St. Valentine of Terni, a Catholic priest executed in 269 AD for performing illegal Christian marriages. Legend has it that before his execution, St. Valentine healed his jailer’s daughter and sent her a letter signed “your Valentine.”

Around the 14th century, the holiday became associated with love, thanks to Geoffrey Chaucer and the ideals of courtly love and chivalry. Prior to this period, the emphasis was on sacrifice, particularly animal sacrifice, rather than romantic love. The concept of Valentine’s Day as a celebration of love can be traced back to the Charter of the Court of Love, issued by Charles IV in 1400, which described feasts, jousting, dancing, love songs, and poetry contests. However, the authenticity of this document is uncertain.

In 18th century England, Valentine’s Day evolved into an occasion for lovers to exchange flowers, candy, and handwritten letters known as valentines. Symbols such as hearts, doves, and Cupid became associated with the holiday. Today, mass-produced cards have largely replaced handwritten ones.

Although Valentine’s Day is not an official holiday, it is widely celebrated and has become highly commercialized. Millions of valentine cards are sent each year, including school children exchanging valentines. In the United States, Valentine’s Day spending has steadily increased over the years, with traditional gifts like jewelry, chocolates, flowers, and romantic dinners being exchanged between partners. It is the second busiest evening for restaurants after Mother’s Day.
