How to Make an Appointment for Gift Cards

For those with a 10 – 15 minutes flexibility, simply walk-in for your car wash.
To avoid waiting in line, we recommend calling 916-989-3904 and scheduling an appointment before your visit

How to Redeem Your Gift Card

As mentioned before, both you and the recipient will receive emails containing a soft copy of the gift card with a QR code.

To make the most of your gift card:

Make an appointment.
Visit our Carwash Location at 7620 Folsom-Auburn Rd, Folsom, CA 95630.
Show one of the following to the cashier:
– Printed copy of the gift card
– Gift card digital copy or QR Code on your cellphone
– Gift card code along with the receiver’s name and email address
The cashier will redeem the amount equivalent to the gift card price divided by 5 washes.

Remember to keep your gift card’s QR code, barcode, serial number, and other details confidential; never share them with anyone else.

Description

Labor Day occurs on the first Monday in September.

It serves as a tribute to both the American Labor Movement and the invaluable contributions of workers to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the nation. Additionally, it is widely regarded as the unofficial end of the summer season.

The origins of Labor Day can be traced back to the late 19th century when trade unions and the labor movement gained momentum. The Central Labor Union and the Knights of Labor advocated for a dedicated day to celebrate labor. The first Labor Day parade took place in New York City on September 5, 1882. Oregon became the first state to officially declare Labor Day a public holiday in 1887.

After a tragic incident during the Pullman Strike of 1894, in which workers were killed by the United States Army and the United States Marshals Service, Congress unanimously passed legislation to establish Labor Day as a national holiday. It was signed into law by President Grover Cleveland just six days after the strike ended. Although May 1, International Workers’ Day, was considered as a potential date for Labor Day, it was ultimately chosen to avoid associations with the Haymarket riots that occurred eight years earlier.

Labor Day weekend marks the start of the school year with a day off on Monday and is seen as the unofficial conclusion of summer. Many people celebrate the holiday by enjoying picnics, barbecues, or taking advantage of shopping sales, particularly for back-to-school items. It has become one of the busiest shopping days of the year for certain retailers. Politicians often deliver speeches on Labor Day, focusing on the civil aspect of the holiday.

Sports enthusiasts also associate Labor Day with the beginning of the football season. NCAA games usually kick off during this weekend, while the NFL’s first game occurs on the following Thursday. The southern 500 NASCAR race takes place annually in Darlington, South Carolina, since 1950, and the finals of the National Hot Rod Association U.S. nationals for drag racing are also held during this weekend.
